Cream of Potato Soup

Cream of Potato Soup

  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1/4 cup finely cut-up green onion
  • 4 cup instant mashed potato flakes, prepared
  • 2 cup canned chicken broth
  • 1 (12 oz.) can PET® Evaporated Milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


  • Melt butter in large saucepan. Add onion and cook until tender. Add chicken broth.
  • Mix evaporated milk and potatoes. Add to broth. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cook and stir over medium heat until hot.
